Description

Responsible for the maintenance of the building. This includes completing preventive maintenance, installing new equipment, assisting with routine building maintenance, and responding to the maintenance needs of tenants and different departments. The role is essential for ensuring the property is well-maintained, safe, and compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on the building and its equipment (e,g, air-conditioning plants, pumps, fire equipment)
• Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and tenant requests
• Conduct daily inspections of the building's interior and exterior to identify and address maintenance needs

Qualifications

• Education: Standard Eight (Grade 10)
• Certification: Additional training in maintenance and repair procedures is required
• Experience: A minimum of two years of related maintenance experience
• Knowledge: Basic knowledge of maintenance functions, safety protocols, and the ability to read and follow blueprints
• Skills/Abilities: Able to work well independently, strong attention to detail, and solid hand/eye coordination
